TRENTATRE' RISTORANTE

It was a great evening. Food was explained well and prepared beautifully. Allowed dogs (thank you). Maybe a bit pricey compared to similar places, but Would come again

Un ristorante di classe, immerso in un’atmosfera unica, arricchita da affreschi originali del Settecento. L’ambiente è formale ma mai opprimente: si respira eleganza senza eccessi, grazie anche a un personale estremamente attento, professionale e mai invadente. Il menù è ricco, sfizioso e ben studiato, capace di soddisfare anche i palati più esigenti con piatti ricercati e ben presentati. Il momento del dolce è una vera esperienza: viene preparato al tavolo direttamente dallo chef Trentini, una figura di grande competenza e umanità, che arricchisce la cena con la sua presenza cordiale. La sala è gestita con maestria dalla sua compagna, che coordina tutto con eleganza e attenzione. Un’esperienza che consiglio vivamente e che non vedo l’ora di ripetere.

Food absolutely excellent, as was the knowledge and advice from the staff on aspects of the food/wine/oil etc. The Chef even came and explained the construction of the 3 x amuse bouche. The chairs are awful though (far too low for dining, and we even had to request additional cushions to raise the height !). Service was a bit too "attentive" for our tastes though (e.g. toping up our water every few minutes when leaving the bottle on the table would have been perfectly acceptable). We would definitely return for the food experience:-)

Sono tornata da Al 33 dopo la mia prima visita nell’ottobre di due anni fa quando la sede era ancora a Moretta, e posso dire che l’esperienza è stata ancora una volta straordinaria. La cucina riesce a coniugare raffinatezza, tecnica e novità, con piatti che esaltano ogni ingrediente in un equilibrio perfetto tra creatività e tradizione. Ogni portata è un piccolo racconto di gusto, curato nei dettagli e servito con eleganza. Un ringraziamento speciale a Maria, che con la sua professionalità e gentilezza ha reso il servizio in sala davvero impeccabile — attenta e professionale. È raro trovare un’ospitalità così autentica in un contesto di alta cucina. In sintesi, Al 33 si conferma una tappa d’eccellenza, dove tutto — dall’atmosfera al servizio, fino all’ultimo boccone — contribuisce a creare un’esperienza memorabile. Non vedo l’ora di tornare ancora.

We enjoyed a beautifully composed menu that struck a perfect balance between tradition and modern creativity. The quality of the dishes, the precision in execution, and the depth of flavor were truly remarkable – refined yet full of character. As dedicated foodies who regularly explore high-end gastronomy, we were thoroughly impressed. The service was outstanding: professional, warm, and attentive without ever being intrusive. One course was even prepared right at our table – and the chef personally introduced himself, which added a very special, personal touch. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the high culinary standard and overall experience. This evening will remain a lasting memory for us – and we’ll definitely be back. One small tip: our initial reservation request via the website’s online form ended up in spam. It’s better to call directly or send an email to ensure your booking is received. Highly recommended.
